What needed to change
After a site visit or a quote, the next follow-up can get lost between an inbox, a spreadsheet, and someone's memory. The owner needs a clear view of what needs attention.
System
How the system works
I built a local follow-up desk with editable stages, owners, due dates, CSV import and export, daily summaries, and message drafts that require review before copying. Reply, pause, closed-outcome, contact, and due-date checks keep unsuitable follow-ups out of the ready list.
- My contribution
- Service workflow, dashboard interface, draft-review controls, CSV handling, and synthetic validation
- Storage
- Browser-local demonstration data
- Approval
- Editing a draft resets review; messages are copied manually
- Integration
- Dashboard and n8n starter are separate demonstrations
Outcome
What is supported by the record
The local prototype supports a complete walkthrough using fictional records. It has no connected inbox, automatic sending, or cross-device storage. A separate inactive n8n starter was import-validated; it is not connected to the dashboard and its full execution remains unverified.
Interface
Working local dashboard with synthetic enquiries
Control
Draft review enables copying; it never sends a message
